COMPOST
Today at the garden...
Our class began a brand new compost pile. The day before in class we learned some key factors of compost.

For Example
Size: The size of the pile can alter the temperature and the speed of the decomposing process.
We created different stations where we cut down or made our material into smaller sizes so that way the pile will decompose faster.
Our material consisted of food scraps that were cut and mushed down; pieces of paper that were cut and watered down and some other scraps from the garden that we chopped.
